I would like to participate but I cannot attend one of the trainings. Can I still participate?
Absolutely! We will be recording each session. If you’re able to make at least 4 of the 7, you can view the others on your own time.


Will printed training materials be provided?
For those who register after May 4th, printed materials will not be available. You can still register, participate and access electonic materials here.


Will I be expected to share the information I learn with others?
Yes. Along with your commitment to complete the 7 trainings, you will also be expected to share your knowledge with at least 10 other people.


Is this information appropriate for children?
Yes. The information and skills taught during this training are appropriate for all ages!


What will I learn during the trainings?
The core skills taught during the training include: building problem-solving skills, promoting positive activities, managing reactions, promoting helpful thinking, and rebuilding healthy social connections.


How do I register?
You can visit this link to register. The registration deadline is Monday, May 9th.


How do I receive the $200?
If you are one of the first 40 people to register, you will receive a $200 check mailed to you after you have completed the 7 trainings and shared with at least 10 other people.


What is the link to attend the training sessions?
If you registered, an email will be sent to you a few days before the first training with the Zoom link. All trainings will take place at the same virtual link.


Do I need to read or learn anything before the first training?
No. Materials will be sent to you ahead of time but you will not need to read anything in advance.


What organization is providing this training?
Minnesota Department of Health is providing the training free of charge. The SPR Training is developed by the National Center for PTSD and the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. ACET, Inc is contracted through MDH to facilitate the trainings.
